A 10″ x12″ glossy print of Plymouth Argyle legend former player and manager Bob Jack. Bob was associated with Argyle for 33 years.
With thanks to PAFC and designers the Graphic Bomb we have a limited number of this print which is taken from what is now on the wall in the changing rooms at Home Park. Modified to include all Jack’s club details, it also has a facsimile signature.
As the manager, Bob’s first honour with Argyle was the Southern League title of 1912-1913. Then, in 1920, he became the club’s first Football League manager, starting out in Division Three South. Argyle then went on to finish second for a record six years in a row, starting in 1921-22, at a time when only the champions were promoted. Eventually, in 1929-1930, they won the championship and were promoted to the Second Division, where they consolidated their position throughout the 1930s.
