The Argyle Archive is a registered charity dedicated to promoting and preserving the heritage and history of Plymouth Argyle Football Club. We are an independent organisation, working in close partnership with the Football Club to safeguard its proud past for future generations.

We care for an extensive collection of Argyle memorabilia and historical material dating back to the formation of the club. Our work focuses on preserving, protecting, and displaying this heritage so it can be enjoyed by supporters and researchers alike.

The Argyle Archive is also the proud custodian of Greens on Screen — the complete record of every match played and every player to represent Plymouth Argyle. It is one of the most comprehensive club histories in the country and widely admired across the football community.

Our work is made possible by a dedicated team of unpaid volunteers who share a passion for Plymouth Argyle and a commitment to preserving its history.

However, maintaining and protecting our collection comes with ongoing costs, including insurance, storage, and display, as well as hosting and maintaining our websites, including Greens on Screen.
