The Devon Professional Championship was launched as a triangular knockout tournament in 1922/23. Signed from Ebbw Vale in 1924 and was a key player in the great Argyle team of the era which went on to win promotion in 1930. Jack Pullen played 199 times for Argyle and made one International appearance for Wales agains England in 1926. The Jack Pullen Collection was kindly donated to the Argyle Archive by the Pullen Family 100 years to the month after Jack’s very first game for the club.
