John “Cardiff” Williams was a popular member of the Third Division title winning squad of 1958 – 59 making made 24 appearances that year. A hugely popular member of the squad, John was retained for a further two years to help bring reserve team players through.

John sadly passed away in October 2022, and we are very grateful to his family for donating his blazer, tie and medal to the Argyle Archive. Our thanks also go to Archive Sponsors PASOTI for helping to arrange this donation
