1933-34 F.A. Cup Newspaper Cutting

Up for The Cup!

Huddersfield Town were one of the leading clubs in the country when they visited Home Park for an FA Cup Third Round tie in 1934.  In front of a record crowd of 43,426. Argyle were leading 1-0 with only a couple of minutes left only for Town to equalise late on.  Argyle were beaten 6-2 in the replay and Huddersfield went on to finish as runners up in the old division one.
