Player’s season ticket and training rules issued to John L “Cardiff” Williams.
John was a member of the Third Division title winning side of 1958 – 59 making made 24 appearances that year. A hugely popular member of the squad, John was retained for a further two years to help bring reserve team players through but only made a handful of further appearances. John sadly passed away in October 2022, and we are very grateful to his family for donating his blazer, tie, medal and other items to the Argyle Archive. Our thanks also go to Archive Sponsors PASOTI for helping to arrange this donation.
